Services
What studies does Dayhawk interpret?
Screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, and digital breast tomosynthesis. Additional breast imaging modalities can be discussed during scoping.
Do you read STAT or urgent cases?
Urgent-read arrangements are handled on a per-partnership basis. Reach out and we'll walk through what works for your program.
Do you serve mobile screening units?
No. Dayhawk contracts with imaging centers, hospitals, and clinics. We do not serve mobile screening operations.
Do you work with patients directly?
No. Dayhawk is a business-to-business teleradiology service. We contract with healthcare organizations; we do not accept direct-to-consumer requests.
Radiologists & quality
Who reads our studies?
Fellowship-trained, board-certified, MQSA-qualified breast radiologists. Every radiologist on our reading team interprets breast imaging exclusively.
How are reports structured?
Reports use BI-RADS-aligned structured language with clear findings, assessment, and recommendations. Format can be tailored to your reporting conventions.
How do you handle discordant or callback cases?
Callbacks and discordant findings are routed through a defined escalation pathway with direct physician-to-physician communication available.
Technology & security
How does Dayhawk integrate with our PACS?
Through standard DICOM and HL7 interfaces. We meet your existing systems where they live and do not require you to adopt new infrastructure.
Is the service HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Our workflows, infrastructure, and reading environments are designed around HIPAA requirements. We execute a Business Associate Agreement with every partner prior to go-live.
Where are images stored?
Image storage and routing are configured per partner. In most engagements, your PACS remains the system of record; we interpret and return reports without long-term image retention on our side.
Contracts & onboarding
How long does onboarding take?
Onboarding timeline depends on PACS/RIS complexity and credentialing scope. A scoping conversation gives us both a realistic estimate.
What does pricing look like?
We price per-study with volume tiers. Exact pricing depends on study mix, volume, and service level. We'll share a written proposal after an initial conversation.
What licensure do your radiologists carry?
Our radiologists actively add state licensure as our footprint grows. Contact us with your state and we'll confirm coverage directly.
